Avi Sound DC · Washington, DC

Event sound &
on-site support.

When the event has moving parts, it helps to have someone looking after the sound. We plan the setup and on-site audio support together, with time for soundcheck and the agreed support during your event.

What does your
event sound like?

We plan around the people and the program. Share what’s happening on stage, at the microphone or around the room.

Corporate and nonprofit gatherings

Welcome remarks, presentations, receptions and community gatherings often move between speech and music. Share the agenda and any playback cues so we can plan microphone levels, transitions and the time needed on site.

Speeches and panels

Let us know the number of speakers, whether they’ll share microphones and whether there’s an audience Q&A. We’ll work through microphone placement and handoffs, with a soundcheck before the program begins.

Private parties and celebrations

A celebration might need background music, a few toasts or a live set. Tell us how the evening flows and which moments need attention, so the audio plan reflects the event you’re hosting.

Bands and live performances

Send the lineup, instruments, vocal microphone needs and any input list or stage plan. We’ll check the mixing and monitoring needs before quoting. Larger lineups or production requirements need a separate scope and may involve specialist vendors.

  1. 1

    Plan the program

We work through the venue, running order, microphone needs and playback or performance inputs with you.

  2. 2

    Set up and soundcheck

We place speakers, wire the equipment and check the sound within the venue’s agreed access window.

  3. 3

    Support the event

During the agreed on-site hours, support can include microphone levels, music playback and live mixing. We arrange breakdown and collection in advance.

Let’s work through
the details.

Do we need on-site support or just equipment?

If someone needs to manage several microphones, follow playback cues or mix a performance, tell us about those moments. If you have a simpler setup and someone comfortable operating it, speaker and microphone rental with delivery and setup may be the better starting point. We’ll help you choose.

What should we send with the inquiry?

The date, venue, guest count, event hours and a rough agenda help. Add speaker and performer details, setup access and any venue sound rules you already know. It’s fine if the plan is still taking shape.

What if the event is outdoors?

Share the location, power access, covered area and weather plan. We’ll review the site and conditions before confirming equipment and support.

How are time and pricing agreed?

We scope the equipment and time for your event, including setup, the program and collection. Review the total and any possible additional charges before booking. An inquiry checks availability; it does not reserve the date.

Let’s plan the sound for your event.

Send us the date, venue and what you have in mind. Unknown details are fine. We’ll check availability and work through the setup with you before quoting.
